A hygienist responds to a study on COVID-19 and the dental practice

Amanda Hill, RDH, BSDH, looked at one of our most popular recent articles and believes there is more to be discussed, including the role of dental hygienists. However, COVID-19 has brought a much-needed awareness to infection control, she said, and this study shows that screening patients and following the recommended precautions are key to safely navigating the pandemic.
