Did COVID-19 trigger a patient's severe lip necrosis?

COVID-19 infection likely led a woman, who was diagnosed with a rare blood disease, to develop severe hemorrhagic necrosis on her lips. This may show a link between blood diseases and SARS-CoV-2, according to a case report published September 30 in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology.
