During the hearing of an application, the Conciliation Commissioner, Mr M Henwood, complained of the noise outside No.4 Industrial Arbitration Court, Queen's Square, and said it was impracticable to continue until some more suitable accommodation farther from the street could be found. "It is only practicable to ask witnesses questions in between trams," said the commissioner.
