Violet LED light offers whitening treatment alternative

Teeth whitening remains a sought-after treatment by patients, but concentrated peroxides are often used in these treatments and may cause tooth damage. Researchers tested whether the use of a violet light-emitting diode (LED) system was a valid alternative for teeth whitening.
