Congratulations to the class of 2018

It’s graduation season and the 161,000 members of the American Dental Association are thrilled to welcome the class of 2018 to the profession!

Transitioning into your life as a dentist provides you with so many opportunities to connect with colleagues at the local, state and national levels. Together, we’ll continue to make a difference in peoples’ lives, and advocate for an even stronger profession.

To help you get started, national level membership dues are complimentary until 2020 (some state and local dues may apply). If you’re entering a graduate or residency training program, we can transfer your membership status to Graduate Student membership for just $30 per year. You’ll experience your complimentary year following completion of your training.

Whatever your next steps are, we have resources and support for every stage of your career.

For starters, you can update your ADA Find-a-Dentist™ profile so potential new patients can find you. Make it easier to submit and maintain your credentials via the ADA® credentialing service, powered by CAQH ProView®. Dive in to our student loan refinancing options through our endorsed lender Laurel Road, and learn about money-saving resources to help achieve long-term financial stability.

Learn from your colleagues on the New Dentist Blog as they share insights and experiences from their career. Now is also the perfect time to convert your ADA Member Insurance. All of these resources and more are available to you at ADA.org/newgrad. We look forward to celebrating your future career milestones!

If you have any questions, the ADA Member Service Center is there for you at 800.621.8099 or membership@ada.org. You can also contact your state dental society to start connecting with colleagues closer to where you’re practicing.

Once again, welcome. We wish you success throughout your career!
