Preventing medicine-related osteonecrosis takes a team

Medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw is a rare but painful condition that sometimes occurs after tooth extractions. Collaboration among dentists and pharmacists is needed to treat the pain associated with this condition and improve patient outcomes, according to the authors of a new article in Pharmaceutical Journal.
