Can using a laser improve outcomes of your root canal treatments? A new in vitro study compared laser and nonlaser treatments on the binding strengths of glass-fiber posts. Researchers found that the laser was a useful addition to treatment.

It may be appropriate to re-name the article, as the referenced study does not address root canal success rates. In fact, One might posit the question of whether bond strengths between post and dentin are relevant in determining restorative/structural success, since root fracture does seem to be the more important determinant in post durability.
